KISS: by Monster Mini Golf Review
Fans of KISS can finally enjoy the music and party vibe of the famed rock band, all without leaving the kids at home.
But even if you're not a KISS fan or the best at golf, kids and kids-at-heart will have a rockin' good time at KISS: By Monster Mini Golf.
The indoor attraction features a glow-in-the-dark, miniature golf course, an arcade area, a gift shop and even a "Hotter Than Hell" wedding chapel. The black lights with neon accents and KISS-inspired Vegas celebrity murals set the tone, making it all the more awesome. Plus, you'll hear nothing but KISS tracks during your experience.
The 18-hole course features fun obstacles like hills, mazes, instrument cases and drums as blockades and more. And honestly, how many courses have bobbing KISS heads, a gigantic boot statue and an electric guitar you can putt through? The final hole is definitely a treat: Hit your golf ball up Gene Simmons' tongue, right into his mouth.
Make sure you have your camera or phone because the glow-in-the-dark wall murals throughout the course are amazing. Celebrities featured include Marilyn Monroe, The Killers, Siegfried and Roy, Bugsy Siegel, Carrot Top, The Rat Pack and more. There's also animatronic statues of the KISS members rocking out on stage. At the end of your course, check out the wall quotes from KISS members and other celebrities, as well as a KISS photo gallery
If you have any energy left, KISS: By Monster Mini Golf offers air hockey tables, Skee Ball and favorites like racing games, "Guitar Hero," "Deal or No Deal" and much more. Redeem your gaming tickets and snag some cool prizes. You're never too old to enjoy this.
Christina Vitagliano founded Monster Mini Golf in 2004 when she wanted to create an enjoyable yet affordable attraction. Her inspiration expanded to more than 30 themed miniature golf courses across the country. Her vision caught the attention of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and KISS: By Monster Mini Golf was born.
"Introducing the first-ever KISS: By Monster Mini Golf to Las Vegas is an amazing opportunity for us," said Vitagliano."It is also a great honor to work with KISS, who are personal favorites of mine."
If the music, black lights and KISS songs don't excite you, then we don't know what will. Want to take a piece of KISS with you? The gift shop includes apparel, KISS stage costumes (even for the little ones), neon golf balls, comic books and other fun, quirky souvenirs.
After this, we bet you'll want to rock and putt all night.
