Canyon Blaster at Circus Circus Review

Max Length: 2,000 feet
Max Height: 90 feet
Biggest Drop: 90 feet
Max Speed: 55 mph
Ride Duration: 1 minute 45 seconds
Capacity: 28 people per ride; two trains available
Designer: Arrow Dynamics, Clearfield, Utah
Special Features: 74- and 72-foot vertical loops followed by a two-inversion corkscrew. First drop: 45 degrees. Ride is interactive with Rim Runner flume ride.
Reaching speeds of up to 55 mph, Canyon Blaster will have riders gripping their handle bars and gasping for breath as they zip through a series of twists and turns.

One of the first four rides at the park when it opened in 1993 as Grand Slam Canyon, the roller coaster is the United States' only indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster.

Stretching 90 feet into the air, the coaster provides a one-of-a-kind view of the Adventuredome, from the Rim Runner to the The Sling Shot. The ride also includes a close encounter with Chaos in one segment.

Definitely one of the best roller coasters in town, and if it's thrills you are seeking, Canyon Blaster is a must-see.
