Inverter at Circus Circus Review

"Hanging out" on the Adventuredome's Inverter is an understatement.

The Inverter looks like a big Lego piece, but with screaming people inside. If hanging upside down is your thing (or if you were an opossum in your former life), then this ride is for you. The Inverter doesn't just whip you around, upside down and back again -- it pauses in mid-flight and you'll have enough time to look at everything beneath you. With only a harness and T-bar separating you from the concrete floor 50 feet below, you'll be holding on like there's no tomorrow. Let's just say the ride gives a whole new meaning to "leaving you hanging."

Once you think it's all over, the Inverter propels the opposite direction, making sure you flip upside-down all over again.

This is one of those rides meant for thrill-seekers, or those with a strong stomach. If you get dizzy easily, you may want to leave the Inverter for the daredevils.
