Shania Twain kicks off her new Vegas residency on Saturday night at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Catch the top-selling female country artist of all time singing all of her signature hits in "Shania: Still The One."
There's more exciting nightlife downtown at the Fremont East District, featuring two brand-new venues - Backstage Bar & Billiards and Commonwealth.
Backstage Bar & Billiards is part billiards lounge, part rock 'n' roll museum that features experienced DJs and live music acts. DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit, House of Pain) and Las Vegas' own DJ Scotty Boy - both part-owners of the venue - provide the beats with house residencies. The décor is eclectic with an homage to subculture featuring furniture by rock outfitter Anvil Cases, collectors' items from historical rock ‘n' roll concerts and a music library covering eight decades.
Commonwealth brings a classic East Coast pub atmosphere to Fremont Street. Have a casual drink in the main room outfitted with dark woods and eclectic furniture, or enjoy hand-crafted cocktails on the rooftop patio. It has a spectacular view of the Fremont Street action and downtown high-rise buildings, and offers a quiet place to hang with friends in cozy sofas and lounges.
