Trends, fashion, celebrities, events, music, and all things only Vegas
Let's face it -- your dad has socks. And probably a tie. This Father's Day, get him something he really needs. A trip to Las Vegas! And hey, just to make sure he has a good time and all that, maybe you should join him, to make up for all those times he helped chaperon you.
Start with a relaxing round on the links. Las Vegas has more than 55 championship golf courses crafted by some of the game's greats, such as Jack Nicklaus, Raymond Floyd, Tom Weiskopf and Arnold Palmer.
Then, help Dad update his wardrobe with some stylish threads. You'll find everything you need to get Dad decked out in Las Vegas' amazing shopping centers.
Once he's dressed to kill, it's time to fuel up. First, dinner -- most Dads love to eat, and Las Vegas has some of the most award-winning restaurants anywhere on the globe. Treat him to a memorable steak dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons, or Cut by Wolfgang Puck at The Palazzo. If he's a seafood lover, American Fish by Michael Mina at ARIA Resort has dishes ranging from Copper River salmon to Great Lakes walleye, or treat him to fresh steamers, shrimp, lobster, crab, clam chowder and calamari at the Oyster Bar at Harrah's.
Finally, treat Dad to any of Las Vegas' unbeatable shows and you've got the perfect Father's Day gift -- a Las Vegas excursion that he'll think about fondly all year long.

Give your mom something that will last forever this Mother's Day, give her a lifetime of memories and treat her to a Las Vegas adventure!
Instead of giving her a few flowers, taker her to the breathtaking displays at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. It's a kaleidoscope for the senses! If she wants a flower to keep, treat her to dinner at Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens, an intimate and elegant setting where every female patron is handed a red rose upon arrival.
And why settle for a box of chocolates when you can take Mom to Chocolat Bistro at the Palms. Chocolat is a stylishly chic fusion of traditional European gelateria, creperie and cremerie featuring delectable crepes, handcrafted chocolates, a palette of bright, fruity gelatos and an array of mouthwatering desserts.
Mom deserves to be pampered, too, so set her up with a treatment from any of Las Vegas' unique, invigorating and refreshing spas.
Help her escape to Qua Baths and Spa's Arctic Ice Room at Caesars Palace, where she can relax in snowfall-like conditions in the form of mint-infused air falling from a domed ceiling at 55 degrees Fahrenheit. It's the coolest spa treatment she'll ever enjoy, and it's only in Vegas. The Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan offers multiple treatments inspired by traditional Turkish baths.
Other refreshing and invigorating signature treatments that Mom will love can be found at The Spa at Red Rock, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian, Oleksandra Spa at Treasure Island and the Aquae Sulis Spa at the J.W. Marriott, to name a few.
Then, it's time to treat her to a real Vegas show! For a magical experience, enjoy champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in your VIP seats at Le Rêve - The Dream at Wynn.
Treat Mom to the experience of a lifetime in Vegas!

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is known for showcasing the world's most beautiful women and few places can relate to that like Las Vegas, where you can find more than 500 talented and beautiful women performing in shows all over town nightly.
Many of them are featured in an advertisement in this year's Swimsuit issue. The women that appear in the ad work in different capacities all over Las Vegas. You'll find everyone from Angel Porrino of Absinthe at Caesars Palace to Lorena Peril, lead vocalist in Fantasy at Luxor, to Claire Sinclair, star of the new Pin Up at the Stratosphere.
The women in the ad include performers from several shows on the Strip, including Crazy Girls at the Riviera, Peepshow, iCandy, V - The Ultimate Variety Show and VEGAS! THE SHOW at Planet Hollywood, Terry Fator at the Mirage and X Burlesque at Flamingo.
Some performed in the hit vampire show Bite; others shake it up nightly as dancing dealers at the Golden Gate. Some work in free shows such as the Sirens of TI at Treasure Island.
There are even women in the ad who work at Hyde nightclub at Bellagio and at Liquid pool at ARIA Resort.
But can you find the one woman in the ad that isn't a Las Vegas performer? If so, you could win a trip to Las Vegas! Just visit our Facebook page to see if you can spot the Sports Illustrated model from 2009 who is mixed in with our Las Vegas beauties.

Where are the best spots for people-watching in Vegas? We recently asked that question to our Facebook and Twitter fans, and got an extensive list of places to peer at your peers.
The most popular response was downtown Las Vegas, where you can see crowds both at the Fremont Street Experience and the Fremont East Entertainment District.
Downtown Las Vegas is ideal for walking and people-watching, with only foot traffic for blocks and easy access to pop in and out of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops along Fremont Street. With free shows on the Fremont Street Experience stages and the outdoor, open-air vibe and variety of hot spots you can find in the Fremont East Entertainment District, it's no wonder downtown was the top choice for scoping out the scene.
Here are more of your favorite places to people-watch ...
