There's plenty of excitement in downtown Las Vegas this weekend! It all starts with First Friday, the monthly art celebration featuring the work of more than 100 artists, including painting, ceramics, mixed media, photography, jewelry, textile arts and sculpture.

Fourth of July is the ultimate weekend of commemorating your freedom, so plan a trip to Las Vegas for some food, fun, fireworks and UFC Fight Week!
Get up close and personal with the stars of The Octagon from July 3-6 with meet and greets, autograph signings and more at the UFC Fan Expo at Mandalay Bay! Then cap off the excitement with UFC 162 at MGM Grand.
Several resorts are hosting special events on the holiday, too. The LVH is celebrating with its Rockin' 4th of July Pool Party from 4-10 p.m., with food and drink specials and prize giveaways.
The Silverton is hosting a Tailgate barbecue from 11 a.m.-9 a.m. on the Fourth, complete with beef brisket, fried catfish, St. Louis style pork ribs, BBQ chicken and more.
The Hard Rock Hotel is offering Fourth of July-themed menus at 35 Steaks + Martinis, Pink Taco and Mr. Lucky Cafe throughout the holiday weekend. Treat your taste buds to some BBQ Pork Belly Sliders or Duck Quesadilla with Ancho barbecue sauce and mango pico de gallo.
If you're feeling patriotic, enjoy a meal at America inside New York-New York or the All-American Bar and Grill at the Rio All-Suite Hotel. Or show your true colors with a relaxing treatment at The Spa at Red Rock, followed by a trip to check out the White Lions and Royal White Tigers at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage, and then cap the night with a performance of the Blue Man Group at the Monte Carlo.
For more traditional Independence Day revelry, take a quick ride to Boulder City for the July 4th Damboree! You can enjoy everything from a pancake breakfast to a parade and midway booths, and of course, an evening fireworks show.
