Trends, fashion, celebrities, events, music, and all things only Vegas
It's Friday afternoon -- the perfect time to think about Happy Hour, and downing a cold one.
In Vegas, there are plenty of places to enjoy a variety of beers, including some where it's brewed on site. We'll tap into a few of them, but be sure to check out LasVegas.com for a lengthy list of places where you can find your favorites.
The Triple 7 Restaurant and Brewery at Main Street Station in downtown Las Vegas is a great place to start. This microbrewery offers five varieties to choose from (and you can get a sampler of all of them, too): High Roller Gold, Royal Red Lager, Market Pale Ale, Blackchip Porter and Triple 7's featured brew of the month.
Also downtown, the Chicago Brewery and Cigar Lounge at the Four Queens offers handcrafted brews along with a unique selection of appetizers, pizzas and entrees, and of course a fine selection of cigars.
The Pub at Monte Carlo recently introduced new beer selections and a new menu to enhance your experience and Todd English P.U.B. at Crystals inside City Center has creative delicacies and a full raw bar showcasing the best of the sea and a selection of 30 premium beers.
The new Ri Ra Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay features live music, a comprehensive drink list and Irish fare that defies pub standards, and while you are there, be sure to pop by the first official Guinness store in the United States next door at Mandalay Place.
For a cozy atmosphere, you can also check out the Tenaya Creek Brewery at La Quinta Inn and Suites Northwest Tech Center in Summerlin and off the strip, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant has plenty to quench any thirst.
Ah, now we're ready for the weekend! Bottoms up!
