Trends, fashion, celebrities, events, music, and all things only Vegas
Some of the biggest names in music will converge on Las Vegas for a weeklong celebration of Latin recording artists, culture and more leading up to the 13th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards at Mandalay Bay on Nov. 15.
Several Las Vegas restaurants are offering special deals all week long. Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse features flavors from Southern Brazil prepared "The Gaucho Way," with meats roasted over pits of open fire for delicious barbecues. From Nov. 12 - 18, you can complement any meal with a bottle of Fogo wine for only $13.
Then you'll be ready for a signature Las Vegas show. Latin guitar legend Santana takes the stage at the House of Blues on Nov. 7, 9 - 11, 13 and 15 - 17. Spend an
intimate evening listening to the greatest hits from this true musical icon.
There's some fabulous free entertainment all week long as well, including the Claudine Castro Band performing two free shows - on Nov. 12 at Eastside Cannery and as part of Latin Night on Nov. 18 at The Palms. For some traditional Mexican rancheras-style music, catch Paquita la del Barrio at Buffalo Bill's Star of the Desert Arena in nearby Primm.
Las Vegas nightclubs will be sizzling, too, with several special Latin-themed nights throughout the week at Club Tequila inside Fiesta Rancho resort and don't miss Caliente Noche Latina Nights on Nov. 18 at Aliante Station, featuring salsa, reggaeton and merengue dancing!
