We know what you're thinking. Ice skating? In Las Vegas? Really?
Yep, it's true. Lace up your skates to enjoy a quintessential Vegas winter experience at several ice rinks in Las Vegas, including three on the Strip.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas transforms the iconic Boulevard Pool into an intimate lodge experience with the return of The Ice Rink. The Ice Rink will feature an expanded skating area, new cocktail and culinary offerings and additional programming options. It combines breathtaking views overlooking the Strip with a playful, yet luxurious atmosphere.
At The Venetian, the majestic ice skating rink is accentuated by larger-than-life snowflakes surrounding the façade of the resort. The impressive skating surface is made of environmentally-friendly material playfully called “ven-ICE,” which doesn’t require electricity or refrigeration. The surface is actually not made of ice at all, but a state-of-the-art recycled polymer, part of the resort’s industry-leading green initiatives.
The Caesars Chalet holiday ice rink and lodge is open through Jan. 20 at Caesars Palace. Artificial snow falls at the LED-lit rink, and you can order beverages from traditional hot chocolate and coffee to Irish coffee and hot toddies.
You can also lace up the skates in downtown Las Vegas, at a new 4,000-square-foot ice rink behind the Gold Spike. The parking lot-turned-ice rink features a lounge area, heating lamps and even fire pits.
Get into the holiday spirit, Vegas-style!
