Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay

From traditional off-Broadway plays to unrivaled edgy comedy like "Cannibal: The Musical", the Insurgo Theatre at the Plaza Hotel is an intimate venue for independent productions. It's music to your ears as the English heartthrob Matt Goss performs in the elegant Gossy Room at Cleopatra's Barge at Caesars Palace. Cirque du Soleil presents an intimate and ultra-sexy variety show with Zumanity at New York-New York Hotel.  Enjoy this sensual show with your partner in a unique two-person love seat.

Forget the big chain restaurants while vacationing in Vegas! Bring out the culinary god or goddess for the ultimate in fine dining at MGM Grand's Joël Robuchon restaurant. Take in the breathtaking view at Mandalay Bay's MiX, where hostesses will direct you to your own private cocoon booth, surrounding you and your guest on three sides for a more intimate dining experience.  Downtown Vegas is home to two legendary and cozy restaurants - Hugo's Cellar at Four Queens, and Binion's Ranch Steakhouse at Binion's Casino.

Leave the crazy pool parties beyond and allow yourself to be kissed by the sun at Vdara's private retreats or Wynn Las Vegas' exclusive cabanas; or lounge the afternoon away in the private cabana and pool area at The Palazzo's pool.

Bathe in luxury at some of Vegas' more intimate spas for an afternoon of complete relaxation such as the Westin Hibiscus Spa; reserve a Swedish massage at the Bathhouse at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, or whisk your troubles away in one of 17 treatment rooms at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental.

Vegas has it all, big and small.

Getting around Las Vegas

Car Rentals

If you want the convenience of having your own ride during your stay, or want to take a short road trip to the Hoover Dam, Red Rock National Conservation Area, Lake Mead or other surrounding scenic spots, consider renting a car. The average price for an economy car in Las Vegas is around $30 per day, but the sky's the limit if you want something a bit more extravagant.

Limousine Services

If you have a large group or are in town for a special occasion, a limo might be the best way to travel in style for as low as $55 an hour. Limos are also great for cruising the Strip after the sun goes down. Check out a list of transportation companies here.

Forget flowers and a card – treat Mom to Vegas!

Flowers, chocolates and cards are nice, but this Mother's Day, give your mom something that will last forever - memories of an amazing trip to Las Vegas!

Remember all those times she cooked and did the dishes? It's mom's turn to enjoy some great food. Fortunately, there's still time to take part in the culinary event of the year - Vegas Uncork'd by Bon Appétit! This event features the world's greatest chefs and sommeliers, as well as 60 of Vegas' finest restaurants. Spoil her with an unforgettable Sparkling Brunch with Guy Savoy, or Italian Brunch with The Pellegrino's in Caesars Palace!

Mom deserves to be pampered, too, so set her up with a treatment from any of Las Vegas' unique, invigorating and refreshing spas.

Help her escape to Qua Baths and Spa's Arctic Ice Room at Caesars Palace, where she can relax in snowfall-like conditions in the form of mint-infused air falling from a domed ceiling at 55 degrees Fahrenheit. It's the coolest spa treatment she'll ever enjoy, and it's only in Vegas. The Palms Place Drift Spa & Hamman and the Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan offer multiple treatments inspired by traditional Turkish baths.

Other refreshing and invigorating signature treatments that Mom will love can be found at The Spa at Red Rock, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian, Oleksandra Spa at Treasure Island and the Aquae Sulis Spa at the J.W. Marriott, to name a few.

Donny & Marie

Then, it's time to treat her to a real Vegas show! If Mom loves music, there are plenty of performers who will help bring back memories, like Donny & Marie at the Flamingo and Liza Minnelli for one night only at LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Castino.  For a magical experience, enjoy champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in your VIP seats at Le Rêve - The Dream at Wynn, or surround yourself in fantasy at one of six Cirque du Soleil productions.

So many ways to express your gratitude, so give Mom the Mother's Day experience of a lifetime in Vegas!

After breakfast and before dinner, there is plenty of fun to be had! Be adventurous by taking a ride atop the 1,149-foot Stratosphere Tower, zip line your way over Fremont Street on Flightlinez or take a thrilling ride on the 67 mph rollercoaster at New York-New York.

Get ready to be mesmerized! America's Got Talent finalist, magician Nathan Burton, performs his grand illusions in the afternoons at Flamingo Las Vegas, while Harrah's magician Mac King provides a barrel of laughs with his unique comedy magic show.

If spending time in the great outdoors is on your must-do list, head out to Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area featuring more than 30 miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding and picnic areas; or take a quick drive to Mt. Charleston in the scenic Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest for a cool afternoon hike. You could also hit a few balls at the new indoor glow-in-the-dark KISS-themed miniature golf course or challenge your friends to a quick par-3 round at the Callaway Golf Center across from Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard.
