There's plenty of house music available Saturday night in Vegas, too, including Klass (day) & DJ Kaskade (night) at Marquee, Diplo at Surrender, a DJ set by Scooter & Lavelle at Liquid Pool Lounge at ARIA and the Palms features DJ Jazzy Jeff at Moon and Perfecto with Zen Freeman at Rain.
Close out your weekend with some great pool parties, including Dada Life at Encore Beach Club, Gareth Emery and Blake Jarrell at Venetian's TAO Beach and Ghostbar Sundays at the Palms featuring Trevor Simpson.
Who's ready for some Vegas this weekend? Seize the summer!
Las Vegas is no stranger to jam-packed weekends of entertainment, and this past weekend was certainly no exception, with stars from music and film descending on the city for a weekend packed with excitement.
It began with the official Las Vegas premiere of The Hangover 2 on Saturday afternoon at Planet Hollywood. Stars from the film as well as several Las Vegas celebrities walked the red carpet -- and one even took that a step further. Justin Bartha, who plays Doug, wasn't satisfied with talking about the new flick with the media onslaught. He hopped the carpet rope and went straight through to greet fans along the back wall, taking pictures and high-fiving the crowd.
Las Vegas was the site for another premiere on Saturday: The launch of Glee Live Tour 2011 at Mandalay Bay Events Center. The cast from the hit TV show opened their national tour to a packed house of "Gleeks."
Of course, on the hit program, actors sing the hits from today's top artists as well as from music legends. But on Sunday, the MGM Grand played host to many of the artists themselves as the biggest names in the music industry converged for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. The show featured performances by Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Cee-Lo Green, Nicki Minaj and more. From the red carpet to "Icon" award recipient Neil Diamond performing to close the show, the Billboard Awards featured the best musicians on Earth in the most exciting destination in the world -- Las Vegas!
