According to Road & Travel Magazine, 78 percent of pet owners travel with their pet and Vegas has unique options for guests looking to bring Fido. Here are a couple of only Vegas standouts:
Canines receive the VIP treatment when they travel to any Caesars Entertainment resort in Las Vegas. Their popular program, PetStay Las Vegas, accommodates guests and their furry friends at Caesars Palace, Imperial Palace, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Paris Las Vegas, Harrah's, Bally's and Flamingo Las Vegas - a total of eight resorts. As part of the PetStay Las Vegas program, guests and their pups receive in-room amenities including dog treats, food and water dishes, and a pet mat. Canines on the go are also presented with a map of dog-walking routes, on-property designated relief areas, and a variety of dog-friendly resources for pet walking, pet sitting, grooming services and veterinarian information. Sorry, no cats.
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas offers its guests
the Paws Massage Package, which includes a 30-minute Trump Classic Massage for guests and a 30-minute
massage for their pooch. The Las Vegas vacation package will allow pets and their parents to relax and unwind in the comfort of their own suite with dual treatments, both performed by a Spa at Trump massage therapist. In addition, Trump also donates a portion of the $200 cleaning fee for every dog that stays at the property to the Nevada SPCA No-Kill Animal Sanctuary. Cats are also welcome.
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay welcomes your four-legged friend with a special letter, doggie bag and a treat. The hotel also offers pet sitting and walking services for an extra fee. Amenities also include special meal options for man's best friend on the in-room dining menu, with items like the "Backyard Delight," which consists of hamburger, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, apples, parsley and ground turmeric. When Fido's ready for a little fresh air, "Barking Lot Lane" is just steps away. Owners are welcome to walk their dogs themselves or the concierge is available upon request, for an additional fee.
The Westin provides dog and cat owners with a pet bed, food and water bowls, and a mat, as well an official Westin "Pet in Room" sign, while the Riviera Hotel and Casino offers a mat, food dishes and dog treats along with a list of area pet-friendly service providers.
The Four Seasons also welcomes both dogs and cats under 25 pounds for a nominal fee.
