Everyone knows Las Vegas is famous for its poolside parties and summertime entertainment, but there are plenty of other ways to seize the summer in Vegas before it's gone.
Las Vegas is home to some of the most acclaimed and talked about restaurants in the world. From diners and buffets to one-of-a-kind Michelin-rated eateries, Vegas caters to every dining desire. The Country Club at Wynn Las Vegas offers an innovative update to the classic steakhouse menu. For a rockin' good time, check out Roxy's Diner inside the Stratosphere Hotel, Casino and Tower. The 1950s-themed diner boasts a singing staff and a menu offering hearty items like juicy burgers, crispy onion rings and delicious milkshakes. For those looking for an unforgettable experience, Tao Asian Bistro at The Venetian features Hong Kong Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines.
Here are a couple of great ways to stay cool this summer - try the Qua Baths and Spa's Arctic Ice Room at Caesars Palace, where you can relax in the "snow" - in the form of mint-infused air falling from a domed ceiling at 55 degrees. It's the coolest spa treatment you'll ever enjoy, and it's only in Vegas. Or hang out at the Minus 5 at Mandalay Bay and Monte Carlo Resort, where the drinks - and everything else - are chilled. Same goes for the frozen ice bar at Red Square.
Life is short. Summer is shorter. Seize the summer in Vegas!
Independence Day -- the ultimate celebration of freedom. No place shouts freedom quite like Las Vegas, so take advantage of the holiday weekend and plan a summer getaway to the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are performing a poolside show at Red Rock Resort on July 1, Rihanna gets loud on July 2 at Mandalay Bay and it's always a free for all when Ted Nugent rocks at Sunset Station. Also on July 2, watch some fireworks from inside the Octagon at UFC 132 at MGM Grand.
There are also several fireworks displays planned for the Fourth in Vegas, so stick around and enjoy the festivities. Life is Short. Summer is Shorter. Seize the summer this Fourth of July in Vegas!!!

Q: What are you most excited about seeing and doing in Las Vegas?
A: I'm mostly excited to go back to Planet Hollywood where my dreams came true. I'm also excited to see all the hot contestants.
Q: If you had to pick five things to pack in your suitcase for a trip to Vegas, what would they be?
A: Five things I would pack for Vegas: three swimsuits, my iPod and sunglasses.
Q: What is the first thing you want to do when you get off the plane in Vegas?
A: First thing I want to do when I get off the plane in Vegas is run to the nearest slot machine at the airport. I hit $500 one time before I boarded a plane home to Michigan!
Q: What might you wear in Vegas that you wouldn't wear back home?
A: I have a sparkly hot-pink tube top that I only wear in Vegas. It would be way too much anywhere else!
Q: If you had only one night in Vegas, which nightclub would you choose?
A: I haven't really experienced Vegas nightclubs, YET! When I do I would love to go to XS Nightclub at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas and reserve a cabana.
Q: Who would be your dream date(s) for a night out in Vegas?
A: My dream date in Vegas would be Frank Sinatra and I would ask him to sing me my favorite song, "New York, New York." My second choice would be Robert De Niro because one of my favorite movies is "Casino."

A: Oh this question is easy! The most unique experience I've had in Vegas is the night I won Miss USA 2010!

A: I would not want to miss a Cirque du Soleil show. It always leaves me breathless!
Q: What is the best advice you can give to a first-timer in Las Vegas?
A: The best advice I could give a first-timer in Las Vegas would be to BRING sunblock lotion because the sun is shining all day. Also, 5-hour ENERGY shots because you want to stay up all night and enjoy the Vegas Strip.
Q: If you could live at any Las Vegas resort, which one would you choose?
A: If I could choose one resort to live in, it would be the Palms. It is beautiful and exotic!
