Trends, fashion, celebrities, events, music, and all things only Vegas
You already know about everything there is to do indoors in Las Vegas, but what about the great outdoors? Las Vegas has lots to do around the city with its breathtaking landscape and exhilarating activities and it's a great time to go hiking or take a scenic drive.
Start with a tour of the historic Hoover Dam. You'll go inside one of America's most phenomenal structures and see how it was constructed. For a different kind of scenery, spend a day at glorious Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This national recreation area is a photographer's dream with ruby red rock formations, rolling hills, and winding roads throughout the 13 mile journey. For the adventurous check out various challenging hiking trails to Ice Box Canyon, La Madre Springs, Keystone Thrust, or Turtlehead Peak. Red Rock Resort and the Suncoast Hotel are great jumping off points for a day of outdoor adventure, and an even better place to come back to relax!
For more outdoor fun, you can enjoy spectacular hiking and recreation at Valley of Fire or hit the lodge at Mount Charleston or take a helicopter tour and see the fabulous Las Vegas Strip or the Grand Canyon like you never have before.
