Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- ringing in the New Year!

New Year's weekend in Vegas is about much more than just watching a ball drop and waving goodbye to one year to usher in another -- it's about celebration, revelry, and a lineup of entertainment that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

This year, Las Vegas has three new club experiences opening around New Year's Eve -- 1OAK at The Mirage and Hyde at Bellagio. And that's just the beginning. Here's a look at the weekend scene:

Get your weekend started early on Thursday with Fedde LeGrand spinning at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas and Benny Benassi at TAO at The Venetian.

Guns N' Roses performs Dec. 30-31 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock.     On Friday, rock icons Guns N' Roses play the first of two nights at the Joint inside the Hard Rock.

You've also got plenty of nightlife options to fit every musical taste. Get "crunk" with Lil Jon and Steve Aoki & Lil Jon at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas; enjoy a taste of SHM with Sebastian Ingrosso at XS inside Wynn Las Vegas; catch Laidback Luke at Haze at ARIA; witness Tinie Tempah performing at The Bank inside Bellagio, rock out with Good Charlotte & The Situation at Chateau Nightclub and Gardens inside Paris Las Vegas; DJ Pauly D spins at the Hard Rock's Vanity; Dirty South spins at TAO; or party at the Palms with T-Pain at Rain or Clinton Sparks at Moon.

On New Year's Eve, the stars come out all to ring in 2012! Keep up with the Kardashians -- Kim will be at TAO, Rob at Tryst and Kourtney and Scott Disick will host at Chateau Nightclub and Gardens  -- or celebrate with "Peepshow" star Holly Madison at Gallery inside Planet Hollywood.

John Legend plays at Pearl Theater on New Year's Eve before hosting the afterparty at Moon Nightclub.     The biggest names in music are hosting and performing, too, including: Black Eyed Peas members Will.I.Am at Surrender and Fergie at the opening of 1OAK; Chris Brown at Pure inside Caesars Palace; B.O.B. at Luxor's LAX; Bruno Mars at The Bank, John Legend follows his show at Pearl Theater with an after party at Moon and Iyaz at Revolution Lounge inside The Mirage.

LMFAO brings some party rock to Haze; Kaskade spins at Marquee at the Cosmopolitan; Steve Angello is on the turntables at XS; Robbie Rivera is at Vanity; Samantha Ronson is at LAVO at The Palazzo and Paul Oakenfold rings in the new year at Rain.

Other parties include the Cirque du Soleil NYE at Gold Lounge inside ARIA; The NYE Spectacular Spectacular at the Palms' Playboy Club and Foundation Room NYE Gala at Mandalay Bay and Rhumbash at Rhumbar at The Mirage.

America's Party: Las Vegas New Year 2012 will include a fireworks spectacular from the rooftops of resorts up and down the Strip.     There's even more revelry at America's Party Las Vegas 2012 with fireworks launched from the rooftops of hotels up and down the Strip!

The fun doesn't end on New Year's Eve, however. On Sunday, kick off 2012 with Drake at the Joint, with an afterparty at Vanity, Afrojack spinning at XS an Akon at The Bank.

You can also take advantage of the extended weekend and witness the debut of Deadmau5's residency at XS, or party with Avicii at Marquee.

Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- Happy Holly-Day!

We've turned the calendar to December, and in Las Vegas, that means it's time to celebrate the Holly-Day -- as in Peepshow star Holly Madison's birthday bash!

As always, top DJs and musicians will be all over Las Vegas for this Dec. 2-4 weekend, and the fun begins on Friday night with British sensation Luciana performing live at The Bank inside Bellagio.

In fact, you'll find great club music from A (Steve Aoki spinning at Surrender at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas) to Z (Zedd at Haze Nightclub at ARIA Resort). Catch UFC's official DJ, AL3, along with Dave Fogg at Rain inside the Palms, DJ Spider at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas or Porter Robinson at Marquee inside the Cosmopolitan.

Peepshow star Holly Madison celebrates her birthday Saturday night at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas.     Saturday night is your chance to watch Peepshow star Holly Madison blow out the candles for her birthday celebration at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas! You can get warmed up at Ghostbar Dayclub at the Palms, where Ian Carey spins. Carey will also perform at Rain on Saturday night and you can also catch Erick Morillo on the 1s and 2s at Marquee.

Kick off your December with a weekend of celebrity spotting and nightlife that only Vegas can deliver!

Tune in to Vegas for reality programs, game shows and celebrity stars

Las Vegas has always been prominent on the small screen - but nothing beats the real thing, so plan your next trip to see TV stars in person!

If you're a fan or reality TV, take a ride by the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop on Las Vegas Boulevard in Downtown Las Vegas, and you'll see the location of the hit show, "Pawn Stars." Just look for the line of people waiting to get in - this place is popular!

Do you watch TV game shows? Well, in Vegas, you can be the star! Check out stage productions of "Name That Tune Live!" at Imperial Palace, an up-to-date and fast-paced version of the iconic program. Or come on down to Bally's Las Vegas, where you could be the next contestant on "The Price Is Right."

Celebrity stars from television are all over Las Vegas, too, including ‘70s variety show icons Donny & Marie, headlining at Flamingo Las Vegas; "Holly's World" star Holly Madison starring in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood; "Mindfreak" star Criss Angel starring in Criss Angel: BELIEVE at Luxor and former "America's Got Talent" winner Terry Fator at The Mirage. Oh, and if you're lucky, get a hot ticket to Penn & Teller at the Rio Hotel, stars of the hit Discovery show "Penn & Teller Tell a Lie."

Dial in to a Vegas getaway and see stars from TV up close and in person!

Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- Eva Longoria, Rob Kardashian, Lil Jon & more

Stars from TV dramas, reality shows and house music descend on Las Vegas for another fun-filled weekend of nightlife that only Vegas can deliver.

Enter Holly's world on Friday night as Peepshow star Holly Madison hosts the party at Gallery Nightclub inside Planet Hollywood. You can also dance with a star as Rob Kardashian hosts at The Bank inside Bellagio, or attend the Shaun White Supply Co. kickoff party at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian.

Creayshawn performs her hit song, "Gucci Gucci," at Moon inside the Palms, and there are plenty of top DJs in town Friday night, including Dirty South at The Cosmopolitan's Marquee, Sidney Samson tearing down the house at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, DJ Pauly D at Rain at the Palms and Sultan & Ned Shepard featuring Nadia Ali spinning at Haze Nightclub at ARIA.
