What's #knowthecode all about? It's your declaration that when you're in Vegas, What Happens Here, Stays Here.
Don't get us wrong, you can still tweet and post and snap pictures when you are enjoying Las Vegas. Just don't go too far. Take the oath and join the movement to stop people who "overshare."
Take Welsh model Imogen Thomas, for instance. As you can see here, she tweeted a little too much during a recent trip to Vegas. Everyone loves the sizzling nightlife in celeb hotspots such as Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace and XS Nightclub at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, but that's still no reason to violate the code.
Sharing too much can have undesirable repercussions. Just ask Hewlett-Packard VP Scott McClellan. And should Alec Baldwin and his new girlfriend really be sharing intimate thoughts on Twitter? Instead, they should try a romantic meal with a table on the patio at Comme Ça inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with its breathtaking view of The Strip.
When you're in Vegas, Protect the Moment. #Knowthecode, otherwise, this could happen to you:
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and TAO Beach is hosting a benefit event on Saturday for the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation of Southern Nevada. The "Save 2nd Base" party includes open bar from 1-2 p.m. for anyone in a pink bathing suit.
There's also fun by the pool to start the weekend off on Friday as the Miss Tropic beauty contestants host at The Mirage's Bare pool. The celebrity scene picks up Friday night as Angela Simmons hosts at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas and Ice Cube will bring the party to Chateau Nightclub at Paris Las Vegas. For more great Vegas nightlife, check out London Calling at The Bank inside Bellagio, DJ88 at Vanguard Lounge downtown on Fremont Street, EC Twins at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian, Dave Fogg & Dainjazone at Rain at the Palms, Dada Life at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Congorock at ARIA's Haze and Soxxi at the Artisan Hotel.
On Saturday, along with the "Save 2nd Base" benefit at TAO Beach, Armin Van Buuren spins at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan. When dark falls, the Smashing Pumpkins perform at the Cosmopolitan, and there are more celebrity-hosted events, including Mario Lopez holding his birthday celebration at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood, LL Cool J at Chateau and Bryam Greenberg & Victor Rasuk hosting at Pure inside Caesars Palace.
You can also live it up at The Tropic Beauty Model Search at The Bank, Paul Oakenfold at Rain, Van Buuren inside TAO Nightclub, DJ Scooter doing a special guest DJ set at Haze, A-Trak at Surrender, Erick Morillo at Marquee and Chingy live at LAX inside Luxor.
Close out your weekend in Vegas with Dirty South at Marquee on Sunday and Chromeo, Cut/Copy and Z Trip at Rehab's season finale at the Hard Rock Hotel.
It's another star-packed weekend in Vegas!
