Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- We've got a 'Situation' all weekend

If you're a fan of Jersey Shore, this is a great weekend to be in Vegas, where nightlife and celebrities are everywhere you look.

On Friday night, we've got a "Situation" at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood as Mike Sorrentino plays host. On Saturday night, expect some major fist-pumping as The Situation is at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas, while just off the Strip over at the Palms, DJ Pauly D has dual engagements -- first at the sexy Midsummer Night's Dream party at Palms Pool, then his regular residency at Rain.

Kick the weekend off with Ditch Friday at the Palms Pool featuring Big Sean and Jason Smith.

Jet Nightclub     After dark, you can help Lucas Till of "X Men: First Class" celebrate his 21st birthday at Chateau on Friday night, or party with the Hollyscoop girls for Diana Madison's birthday at The Bank at Bellagio. For some live music, 1OAK at The Mirage features Tyga and Pepper is on stage at the Hard Rock Hotel.

For more great beats, catch Kill The Noise doing a DJ set at Surrender Nightclub at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas and Big Sean at Rain.

Saturday, spend a little time in the kitchen -- take part in an afternoon cooking class with Chef Geno at Nove Italiano inside the Palms. You can also enjoy some Liquid refreshment -- the ARIA pool lounge is host to a live DJ set by Scooter & Lavelle.

There are plenty of ways to spend the evening, including Omarion at LAX inside Luxor, Joe Jonas at ARIA's Haze Nightclub, DJ Nick Cannon at Gallery and Max Vangeli at Surrender.

Close out the weekend with BT and Dash Berlin live at TAO Beach at the Venetian, Bad Boy Bill poolside for Rehab at the Hard Rock, Calvin Harris at Encore Beach Club and then cap the night with Zen Freeman & Brandon at the Palms' Ghostbar.

Celebrities, music and the best nightlife. It's a Vegas thing.

Feast on entertainment at a Las Vegas dinner show

Nothing complements a great night of entertainment like a delicious meal, so why not experience both at one time? Las Vegas has a variety of engaging dinner shows that will leave your appetite for food and excitement satisfied.

Start with a little medieval fun at the Tournament of Kings, where you'll join King Arthur's Court at the Round Table. Enjoy a ringside view and a tasty meal at Excalibur as the kings of Europe test their strength and valor with jousting, horse racing and sword combat. Leave the dining utensils at home; this is a hands-on meal!

Get up close and personal with Tony, Tina and their eccentric families and enjoy dinner at Planet Hollywood, because you're on the guest list for Tony n' Tina's Wedding. Your seat is waiting inside the V Theater in the Miracle Mile Shops. This interactive show makes you part of the wedding reception - did you bring a gift?

You can enjoy live music while you dine on authentic Creole cuisine at B.B. King's Blues Club at The Mirage and on Sundays at the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay.

Enjoy dinner and a show, Vegas style!

Vegas Weekend -- Setting the scene: Stars, shows & spinmasters abound

Surrender NightclubStart on Friday with Randy Boyer out by the pool at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan. When the sun sets, you've got plenty of options -- Lifehouse goes 'All-In' at Red Rock Resort, Wynter Gordon performs at Bellagio's The Bank, the Bingo Players do a DJ set at Surrender at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Xzibit spins at Vanity at the Hard Rock; catch Jazzy Jeff at CLASH Fridays at Rain inside the Palms; and you can flash back to the '80s with Eddie MacDonald and Justin Hoffman at ARIA's Gold Lounge.

You can hit the pool scene on Saturday with LA Riots at ARIA's Liquid, Chris Lake at Marquee, Ivano Bellini at Encore Beach Club and Xzibit at the Hard Rock's Rehab.

Birthday celebrations are in order on Saturday night as former "Baywatch" beauty Pamela Anderson (Chateau Nightclub and Gardens at Paris Las Vegas) and "Chuck" and "Killer Elite" star Yvonne Strahovski (Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood) blow out the candles, Vegas style.

You can also hang out with the cast of Absinthe at Blush, witness the Playmate Takeover at the Palms' Playboy Club, dance the night away at Perfecto with Ronski Speed at Rain, or Morten Breum at Surrender and ATB at Marquee.

Close out the weekend by the pool Sunday with Anjunabeats at the Venetian's TAO Beach, Calvin Harris at Encore Beach Club and The Captains of Industry at Marquee.

Las Vegas is the place for great pool parties and nightlife all summer long, so seize the summer in Vegas!

Laugh it up with the biggest names in comedy

David SpadeThe biggest names in comedy are taking the stage in Las Vegas this summer, so get ready to laugh like you've never laughed before.

How about a show about ... nothing? That premise made Jerry Seinfeld and his sitcom the top TV show of its era, and now he's bringing that same observational humor to Caesars Palace Aug. 19 - 20.

The "terms of engagement" for a great night of laughter with David Spade are simple - make your plans to see him at The Venetian Aug. 26 - 27. And you know everybody loves Raymond - you'll love his stand-up routine, too, when Ray Romano performs at The Mirage that same weekend.

Tracy Morgan leaves 30 Rock for a show at the Joint at the Hard Rock on Sept.4; Bill Maher brings his politically incorrect humor to The Orleans Sept. 10 - 11; and you can go inside the mind of Carlos Mencia at Treasure Island on Sept. 16.

Get your laugh on all summer in Vegas!

Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- Electronic music galore!

As you might expect with the Electronic Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Vegas this weekend -- top DJs and producers are all the rave. Here's a look at who you can see and where:

Encore Beach ClubThe EDC is an all-night event, but you still need something to do during the day, so check out the official EDC Weekend pool parties with Boyz Noise on Saturday at Aria's Liquid Pool Lounge and Avicii at Marquee at Cosmopolitan on Sunday. And for those who really want to cap off an amazing weekend, hit the official EDC After Party with Laidback Luke at XS at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on Monday night.

There's also plenty to do in between all around town. Steve Aoki, Sidney Samson, Calvin Harris and Afrojack are part of the DJ Magazine 20-year anniversary weekend parties at Surrender and Encore Beach Club. On Friday night, Samantha Ronson provides the sound at Chateau at Paris Las Vegas, Armand Van Helden is on the turntables at Gallery inside Planet Hollywood, Twista performs at 1OAK at The Mirage and Alexandra Richards spins at The Bank at Bellagio. DJ Chuckie is also celebrating his birthday with a performance at Marquee.

Jay Sean is at Pure inside Caesars Palace Friday for a live performance, and Gavin DeGraw is at Red Rock Resort for an outdoor show. You can also party the night away with Solange Knowles as she celebrates her birthday at Lavo at The Palazzo.

You can also pump your fists all day as DJ Pauly D launches his residency at Ditch Fridays at the Palms pool and later that evening at Rain for Clash Fridays. He'll also be at Moon on Saturday night.

Benny Banassi is the special guest DJ at TAO Beach on Saturday for Lo Bosworth hosting her sister's bachelorette weekend, and over at Bare pool at The Mirage DJ Erra is doing a live set. Martin Solveig is at MGM Grand's Wet Republic and Yolanda Be Cool is at Encore Beach Club.

The celebrities come out on Saturday night as Nicki Minaj heads to the Gallery, Taio Cruz performs at Chateau, Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame celebrates her birthday at Tao at the Venetian and Shaq holds his retirement party at Moon.

Seize the summer like never before. The party is on all over Vegas this weekend!

When the sun goes down, the club scene heats up

Nightlife in Las Vegas has never been more exciting! Come down and dance the night away at some of the newest hot spots in Las Vegas.

Check out the Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas. Find your groove on the centralized dance floor featuring vaulted ceilings, ornate chandeliers and an elevated DJ booth or take the glass elevators to Chateau Garden, an outdoor nightlife experience and lavish rooftop garden featuring beautiful greenery and lush cabanas.

From there, visit the multilevel, 60,000-square-foot paradise that is Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan, with its three lavish rooms and various musical experiences.

Another new Las Vegas club experience is Gallery at Planet Hollywood, where vintage gothic design with contemporary touches help every room in the club expose a new "secret." Gorgeous performance dancers styled in voyeuristic fashions perform nightly.

Whichever nightclub you choose to visit, be sure to keep your eyes out for the hottest celebrities. The rich and famous always show up at Las Vegas hot spots such as PURE at Caesars Palace, TAO Nightclub at The Venetian, Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, LAX at Luxor, 1OAK at The Mirage, and Rain and Moon at the Palms.

Sizzling nightlife that you won't find anywhere else - only in Vegas!
