The ultimate overshare: Childbirth as performance art?

More than 15,000 have joined the movement to Protect the Moment. They #knowthecode and have sworn to uphold it by taking the oath. They know when you are in Vegas -- What Happens Here, Stay Here.

If you haven't done so, please join this elite group. Some people are definitely guilty of oversharing and need to be held accountable. Take performance artist Marni Kotak, for example. She's preparing to give birth to her first child, but not by traditional means -- she's planning to do so in a Brooklyn, N.Y., art gallery, for the whole world to see!

If you like art, we welcome you to check out the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art or Madame Tussauds at The Venetian. And you don't have to give birth while you're there, either ...

Another problem with sharing too much information is that you could be passing along bad information. Such as naming the wrong World Series winner.

Be careful what you share. Otherwise, you might be the subject of an intervention:

Vegas is a picture perfect destination!

You probably have a digital camera -- either one specifically made for taking pictures, or attached to your smart phone. When you're in Las Vegas, there are plenty of places to put it to good use, with its neon lights and famous boulevard.  Book your trip and stroll the Strip, because there's a photo op around just about every corner.

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.    No visit to Vegas would be complete without a stop at the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.  Located on the south end of the Strip, it's one of the most recognizable signs in the world and also one of the most copied. The original designer, Betty Willis, created the sign in 1959 and never copyrighted it. It's the reason why you'll find this sign, or a version of it, everywhere from T-shirts to mugs to beach towels. So when you're here, get your picture with the real thing.

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.Romance is in the air when you arrive at Paris Las Vegas.  The hotel's focal point is a 1/2 size replica of the Eiffel Tower, with its 11th floor restaurant with stunning view of the lights below.  Of course, don't miss the elevator ride to the top - at 460 feet, you'll experience a perfect panoramic 360-degree view of Las Vegas. For more great photo ops, don't miss The Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, The Paris Opera House, and the Alexander III Bridge-all reproduced to the smallest detail.

Those seeking vintage Vegas will enjoy the downtown area known as Fremont Street.  Although there are plenty of classic Vegas hotels here, you can't miss modern technology at its best with the world's largest LED canopy of light.  With more than 12 million lights, the overhead canopy displays music videos and special light shows nightly.  Make your trip to Fremont Street's Viva Vision show at night and you'll be amazed that it's as bright as day when the lights are on!

The Mirage Volcano has been erupting for more than 20 years, and now produces flames that are hotter and larger than ever, with a new fire lagoon feature.  The creators have installed dozens of fire cannons under water that will explode on command.  The effect is a choreographed fountain of fire and scored to the vibrant music of Grateful Dead percussionist Mickey Hart.

The majestic Fountains of Bellagio.Just take a stroll down Las Vegas Boulevard and you'll get a glimpse of the world.  It's the most recognizable street in the world and you'll see first hand Bellagio's fountains, New York's famed skyline, Luxor's great pyramid, Venetian waterways and squares and secluded lakeside shows at Wynn Las Vegas.

For more scenic shots, take a quick trip to Lake Mead where you can see the famous Hoover Dam.  A quick 30-minute drive from the heart of Vegas, the Hoover Dam will amaze you with its size and commanding presence.

Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- Eva Longoria, Rob Kardashian, Lil Jon & more

Stars from TV dramas, reality shows and house music descend on Las Vegas for another fun-filled weekend of nightlife that only Vegas can deliver.

Enter Holly's world on Friday night as Peepshow star Holly Madison hosts the party at Gallery Nightclub inside Planet Hollywood. You can also dance with a star as Rob Kardashian hosts at The Bank inside Bellagio, or attend the Shaun White Supply Co. kickoff party at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian.

Creayshawn performs her hit song, "Gucci Gucci," at Moon inside the Palms, and there are plenty of top DJs in town Friday night, including Dirty South at The Cosmopolitan's Marquee, Sidney Samson tearing down the house at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, DJ Pauly D at Rain at the Palms and Sultan & Ned Shepard featuring Nadia Ali spinning at Haze Nightclub at ARIA.

Saturday night, The Situation will be fist-pumping at Gallery and Lil Jon will be causing some turbulence when he spins at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas. DMC of Run DMC hosts at LAX inside Luxor, Kaskade spins at Marquee, Sebastian Ingrosso performs at XS at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Pharrell Williams is at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas and DJ R3hab is at Surrender.

Make your plans to visit Vegas this weekend. Before you do, join thousands of others who have taken the oath at LasVegas.com/knowthecode. You'll learn how to Protect the Moment and qualify for a free trip to Vegas!

Vegas Weekend: Setting the scene -- Breast cancer benefits & birthday bashes

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and TAO Beach is hosting a benefit event on Saturday for the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation of Southern Nevada. The "Save 2nd Base" party includes open bar from 1-2 p.m. for anyone in a pink bathing suit.

Mario Lopez celebrates his birthday at Gallery on Saturday night.     There's also fun by the pool to start the weekend off on Friday as the Miss Tropic beauty contestants host at The Mirage's Bare pool. The celebrity scene picks up Friday night as Angela Simmons hosts at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas and Ice Cube will bring the party to Chateau Nightclub at Paris Las Vegas. For more great Vegas nightlife, check out London Calling at The Bank inside Bellagio, DJ88 at Vanguard Lounge downtown on Fremont Street, EC Twins at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian, Dave Fogg & Dainjazone at Rain at the Palms, Dada Life at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Congorock at ARIA's Haze and Soxxi at the Artisan Hotel.

On Saturday, along with the "Save 2nd Base" benefit at TAO Beach, Armin Van Buuren spins at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan. When dark falls, the Smashing Pumpkins perform at the Cosmopolitan, and there are more celebrity-hosted events, including Mario Lopez holding his birthday celebration at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood, LL Cool J at Chateau and Bryam Greenberg & Victor Rasuk hosting at Pure inside Caesars Palace.

You can also live it up at The Tropic Beauty Model Search at The Bank, Paul Oakenfold at Rain, Van Buuren inside TAO Nightclub, DJ Scooter doing a special guest DJ set at Haze, A-Trak at Surrender, Erick Morillo at Marquee and Chingy live at LAX inside Luxor.

Close out your weekend in Vegas with Dirty South at Marquee on Sunday and Chromeo, Cut/Copy and Z Trip at Rehab's season finale at the Hard Rock Hotel.
