A provocative character called The Gazillionaire acts as ringleader for the show. Sporting an ill-fitting white tuxedo, dark slicked-down hair, gold shoes and an exaggerated version of his manhood, The Gazillionaire looks just as absurd as his personality. His uninhibited commentary and interaction with the crowd is well past crossing the line. However, based on the laughter from the audience, no one seems to mind. The Gazillionaire is joined by his quirky assistant Penny. Together they host the show, providing crass commentary whenever possible and introducing the next act.
The show features a diverse line-up of unique acts that range from playful and seductive to awe-inspiring. The cast of eccentrics includes: a buxom brunette branded "The Green Fairy" who sings and does a burlesque-style striptease; a team of three male tight-rope walkers whose routine includes doing shots of Jack Daniels Whiskey and a keg stand while balancing above the crowd; a man and woman aerialist team; and various other artists who perform incredible feats of virtuosity within mere feet of the crowd.
The show's in-the-round seating puts everyone close to the action. Even the row of seats furthest away from the stage offers a good view. There's no bad seat in the house at Absinthe.
The show also features special guest Angel Porrino from "Holly's World" performing as "The Weather Girl." For her act she gets inside a life-size balloon wearing only navy blue bowtie pasties and what looks like a bikini bottom. As far as we can tell, the forecast looks good.
The show takes place in a white average-looking tent located in front of Caesars Palace. On the outside there's nothing special about this structure, but inside this show is full of surprises.
