Alan Parsons Live Project

Alan Parsons began his career as an engineer at EMI records in London. He established a name for himself for his work on The Beatles' Abbey Road album as well as Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Along with songwriter Eric Woolfson, he developed the Alan Parsons Project. He debuted the project in 1975 with "Tales of Mystery and Imagination," a collection inspired by the work of Edgar Allan Poe; similarly, the science fiction of Isaac Asimov served as the basis for the follow-up, "I Robot."
