Country singer Clay Walker debuted on the national music scene in a big way in 1993. His very first single, "What's It to You" rocketed straight to No. 1 on the charts, a feat repeated with his second single, "Live Until I Die."
Over the next few years, Walker returned to the charts many times with songs like "Where Do I Fit in the Picture," "If I Could Make a Living," "Hypnotize the Moon," "This Woman And This Man," "The Chain of Love" and "Dreaming With My Eyes Open."
Walker was nominated as TNN/Music City News' Star of Tomorrow and the Academy of Country Music's Best New Male Vocalist. In addition to these honors, he won the Radio & Records poll for Best New Male Artist in 1993 and Country Song Roundup's readers' poll for Best New Male Vocalist in 1995.
In the midst of all his success, Walker went public with his diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 1996, but it didn't slow him down. He released "Self Portrait" that year and "Rumor Has It" in 1997. A Greatest Hits album followed and "Live, Laugh, Love" was released in 1999.
Walker's seventh album, "Say No More," appeared in 2001 and featured his version of the classic Ritchie Valens song, "La Bamba."
He released a Christmas album in 2002 and "A Few Questions" in 2003. Since then he has released "Fall" in 2007 and "She Won’t Be Lonely Long" in 2010. In 2012, he released the single, "Jesse James."
