Darius Rucker and special guest Corey Smith will bring their country sounds to The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a high-energy performance.
Rucker, who many know as the lead singer of Hootie & The Blowfish, changed gears and became a country artist in 2008. His first single, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," made him the first African-American with a No. 1 country song since Charley Pride in 1983.
Two more songs, "It Won't Be Like This for Long" and "Alright" also hit No. 1 and earned Rucker the New Artist of the Year award at the 2009 CMA Awards.
In 2010 he released another album, "Charleston, SC 1966," which also featured chart-topping songs, "Come Back Song" and "This."
In October 2012, Rucker achieved a childhood dream when he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
His latest album "True Believers" features the hit singles "Radio" and "Shine" as well as the Grammy Award-winning song "Wagon Wheel." The album is his third consecutive album to top the Billboard Country albums chart.
