Initially conceived as a hard-edged British blues combo in the late '60s, Fleetwood Mac gradually evolved into a polished pop/rock act over the course of a decade. Throughout all of their incarnations, the only consistent members of Fleetwood Mac were drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie. By the mid-'70s, the band added Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to their lineup -- making them one of the most popular groups of the late '70s.
Now, one of rock's most enduring, beloved and successful bands will be embarking on a major 34-city US Tour after a three year break. The new tour also marks the 35th anniversary of the release of their classic Rumours album (1977), one of the most successful albums in recorded history.
