Frankie Moreno's fresh and fiery show at the Stratosphere is the only place in town you can see a classically-trained musician and composer perform original songs on the big stage.
The piano virtuoso writes all the parts for his 10 piece band. He describes the brass section as jazzy and the strings as classical. Add to that a Latin-style drummer, a rock rhythm section and Frankie's own piano, guitar and harmonica, and you've got yourself a true Vegas original.
Some fans have compared Moreno's style to vintage Vegas acts like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, but Moreno makes a point of being more than a throwback to times gone by. His music has all the polish and complexity of the greats, but it's distinctly contemporary. The show includes just three covers, and Moreno puts his own spin on each.
You may have come to know Moreno from his 2012 performance on "Dancing with the Stars," where he accompanied a dance by Lacy Schwimmer. You'll find that his own style as thrilling as any ballroom display as he swivels and slides around the stage.
Moreno has written songs for music industry greats like Air Supply and violinist Joshua Bell. His own self-produced album is available now.
Vegas voters have named Moreno "Best Strip Headliner," "Headliner of the year" and "Best All-Around Performer." Come see the next big thing light up the stage live at the Stratosphere!
