How to Destroy Angels is an experimental music project that includes Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig (the group's vocalist), composer Atticus Ross and visual artist Rob Sheridan. Reznor and Ross received an Academy Award for their work on the original motion picture soundtracks to "The Social Network" and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."
The group's first full-length album, "Welcome Oblivion," was released this year. It showcases a sound that falls somewhere between electronica and post-industrial rock, with trancelike sound loops and haunting vocals.
