Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist J. Cole becomes one of the first hip-hop artists to headline The Colosseum when he brings his What Dreams May Come Tour with rapper Bas to the Caesars Palace.
Cole got his start rapping at the age of the 12. By 2009 he became the first artist to sign with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. His first album, "Cole World: The Sideline Story," was released in 2011 and debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200, Top R&B Albums and Top Rap Albums charts.
Cole was nominated for a 2012 Best New Artist Grammy, American Music, BET and Soul Train awards.
He followed up his success with his second album, "Born Sinner." The album debuted at No. 2 and eventually moved up to become Cole's second No. 1.
"It's going to be a wild ride," Cole said of his concert tour.
Cole will be joined by Queens hip-hop artist Bas, who recently joined Cole's Dreamville Records. Bas has appeared on two of Cole's EPs, "Cousins" and "New York Times."
