Packing The Joint earlier this year during his "Big Revival Tour," country music megastar Kenny Chesney is returning to Las Vegas for round two this summer.
The sun is high but there's a cool breeze blowing. You've got your boot on the pedal of that old truck. Your guitar's in the back and you're headed west. You take a deep breath and feel a wave of nostalgia for long-gone summer love. It's a hot sun, cold beer, honeysuckle summer. The soundtrack? Kenny Chesney live in Vegas. This summer, the Hard Rock Hotel's goin' country… again.
Most recently releasing the album "The Big Revival" Chesney's latest hits include "American Kids," "Til It's Gone" and "Wild Child." During his Vegas concert earlier this year, Chesney performed a varied set that featured his classic and current biggest hits in addition to a few cover songs such as "Whole Lotta Rosey." With the venue's intimate setting, concert goers can expect a performance that is much more personal than what the star usually plays, making for an unforgettable and downright fun night of country music.
Chesney, a native of Knoxville, Tennesee and the son of a school teacher and a hair stylist, hasn't forgotten his roots. Sure he's had more than 30 Billboard Top 10 hits, but he's still a country boy at heart. No matter what stage he's on, he's still the easygoing cowboy who played at The Turf — the Nashville honky-tonk where he had his first resident gig.
Chesney was the American Country Music Awards' Entertainer of the Year four times in a row, but his star power is based on raw talent and honest music. Fans love songs like "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," which sounds like a no-worries weekend, and "Summertime," which praises the good things in life, like "that old ballpark," "young love" and "an old Ford."
If you're like us, you'll agree "that's the good stuff." If you've got country in your veins or in your heart, you'll love Kenny Chesney live.
