In town during National Finals Rodeo, Lady Antebellum will amp up fans with a performance at the new Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
The country music trio consists of Augusta, Georgia natives Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with Hillary Scott, who's from Nashville. They are known for their pop-flavored take on country music.
Formed in 2006, Lady Antebellum has been burning up the charts since the 2008 release of their self-titled album, which features the single "Love Don't Live Here." When the band's second album, "Need You Now," came out in 2010, it sold nearly a half million copies in its first week. Their other albums have also been well-received and spawned several crossover hits including "Compass," "Better Off Now (That You're Gone)," "Downtown" and "Dancin' Away With My Heart."
Lady Antebellum has racked up many accolades as well. To date, they have collected seven Grammy Awards and received Vocal Group of the Year honors from both the CMA and ACM for three years in a row.
This appearance in downtown Las Vegas comes on the heels of the September release of their studio album, "747," and its sizzling single "Bartender."
Opening for Lady Antebellum will be solo crooner David Nail and rising stars Maddie & Tae.
