Not just a comic, Swardson is an actor, screenwriter and producer with an impressive list of TV and film credits to his name. From 2003 to 2009, he had a recurring role as Terry Bernadino in TV's "Reno 911!" mockumentary. Swardson wrote and starred in the Happy Madison-produced movies "Grandma's Boy" and "Benchwarmers," both released in 2006. He also appeared in the films "Blades of Glory" (2007) with Will Ferrell and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" (2008) with Adam Sandler.
The sketch comedy show "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time" debuted on Comedy Central in October 2010 and ran for two seasons. Most recently, Swardson has had roles in the movies "A Haunted House" with Marlon Wayans and "Grown Ups 2," starring Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock.
