Phoenix, featuring vocalist Thomas Mars, bassist Deck d'Arcy, and guitarists Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz, appeared on the music scene in 2000 with the debut album "United." Since then, the alternative rockers from France released "Alphabetical" in 2004, "It's Never Been Like That" in 2006, and their mainstream breakthrough, the critically adored "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" in 2009 featuring hit songs "1901" and "Lisztomania."
