During the early 1960s the Rat Pack was the hottest act in town and today the tribute show "The Rat Pack Is Back" at the Rio Las Vegas continues to draw a crowd.

Four men portraying Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin take audiences back in time to an era when shows on the Las Vegas Strip featured only all-live music and entertainers who really knew how to work the crowd. Backed by a 12-piece band the guys sing timeless Rat Pack hits including "Luck Be a Lady," "Lady is a Tramp" and "New York New York." They convey all of the charisma and camaraderie of the real entertainers.

Later in the show a beautiful woman portraying Marilyn Monroe has audiences spellbound with her steamy rendition of "Happy Birthday." She sings it to one lucky guy in the audience.

The show closes, all too soon, with the Rat Pack performing a medley of songs. While the majority of contemporary Las Vegans were not here during that simpler, carefree era, if you want a feel for what it was like back then, go to the Rio.
