Named for the courier service that allowed them to trade song ideas while living in different locales, synth-pop the Postal Service was created by Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard. The Postal Service's only album, "Give Up," was released in 2003 and featured the wildly popular "Such Great Heights." Despite the album's critical success, the Postal Service went on an extended hiatus. Now, ten years after Give Up's release, the band has reunited to tour.
