The Orleans Race and Sports Book Review
To some, there's nothing like the action of a sporting event or a horse race. Nothing compares to the agility and grace required of horse and man as they grapple to defeat opponents - nothing. Not even Mardi Gras. So it works out well then that The Orleans race and sports book offers guests a better view of their favorite action than even the luckiest visitor usually gets for Mardi Gras.
The spacious nature of the book makes sure everyone can see what they want to see, whenever they want to see it. Screens line the length of the top of the book and bigger TVs are placed strategically throughout the area, while visitors can relax in cushy purple chairs and write atop green tables (you didn't think they'd abandon Mardi Gras entirely, did you?)
Information for races is tracked on Expo boards, while an electronic board monitors sports, making it easy to pick out what you need to make your wagers.
While some books are hidden away in corners or hard to find, the Orleans makes theirs easily accessible, and pretty much a straight walk back, depending on which set of doors you come in.
And with the book open 24 hours a day, daily, it's pretty much constantly a great place to go for a little fun -- sounds a lot like Mardi Gras, doesn't it?
