Palms Race and Sports Book Review
The race & sports book at the Palms makes it easy for you to indulge in most vices, from gambling and smoking to eating and drinking. A cigarette machine is located in the mid-sized book, the Sidelines Sports Bar is located in front, and the food court is just mere steps away.
The race book is more than adequate, featuring 140 individual workstation-style seats all with individual television sets and task lighting. Fifty seats have Interactive Player Terminals (IPTs), allowing players to place a wager without ever getting up.
The sports book has about 45 comfortable seats and boasts more specialty wagering than any other sports book in town.
After a night -- or two or three -- of partying nonstop, what better way to relax and unwind than sitting in a comfy chair with a beer and cheese fries, watching a ball game or a horse race.
