Plaza Race and Sports Book Review

Of all Vegas' casinos, few are as dedicated to the Sport of Kings -- horse racing -- as the Plaza. Its race and sports book bears frosted glass etchings of thoroughbreds and famous jockeys like Eddie Arcaro. The horses are on the track in here indeed.

The larger sized book features electronic and paper bulletin boards.

Of course, all the major (and more obscure) sports can be bet on in the book, which is located toward the back of the main casino floor.

Raised banks of seats facing a wall of big screens make a great place for groups of friends to gather to root for their teams (or side bets as it were).

A fun sports bar is adjacent to the book. Fast food is available across the main casino floor in the snack court, where portable food like burgers and pizza slices can be had.
