Slip behind the wheel of a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 and 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and experience the thrill of driving these iconic American muscle cars on a test track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
During your time at the track, you will participate in four challenges, including acceleration, braking efficiency, cornering capability and top speed. Each is designed to demonstrate the specific performance characteristics of these superior cars. You will work with props designed to measure performance and enhance the experience, including an F1-style starting line, radar displays showing your speed, digital time displays to show elapsed time, a braking module light trigger, braking distance markers and module identifiers. Afterwards you can decide for yourself which American muscle car reigns supreme.
Itinerary:
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled driving time to complete your liability waiver, participant information and medical form.
- Meet your driving coaches during a five-minute registration and check-in.
- Learn how to master each driving challenge -- acceleration, braking, cornering and top speed -- during 25 minutes of driving instruction.
- Learn all about the muscle cars during a 15-minute mechanical and safety lesson.
- Go over final details and ask last-minute questions. Your photo will be taken next to each muscle car during this 10-minute meet and greet.
- Driving experience (time varies).
- Receive driving statistics during a five-minute closing.
Tour participants must be able to operate a manual transmission.
