Type: Ultimate Pools
Called Palms Pool, the two-acre pool complex at Palms Casino Resort is sure to amaze. Able to accommodate up to 3,000 people, it's broken down into three different areas.
The first pool is ringed by six woven-metal, cylindrical cabanas with sophisticated custom interiors.
An ankle-deep wading area gives way to a second pool. To the right are several two-story bungalows -- each with their own pool, double-sided fireplace, lawn and bedroom. To the left are round, canvas cabanas flanking a concert stage. Canvas-topped teepees with astroturf occupy a terrace above three stone cabanas, with a waterfall flowing from the second floor to shield a bar.
In the space between the first two pools, a triangular glass bar and six blackjack tables are set beneath the tiny glass-bottomed third pool, with two more waterfalls feeding the wading areas.
Adding to the ambience are three incredible bars:
Palms Pool also boasts 27 cabanas, each with a 32-inch LCD TV, speakers with individual volume control, a house phone, a lighted fan, a refrigerator, a safe and contemporary furniture.
Besides being a great place to drink and sunbathe, Palms Pool hosts numerous events. Beginning in May, guests can play hooky from real life at the Ditch Fridays and Ditch Saturdays (dubbed "Ditch Weekends") parties. Palms Pool is also open for fun with live DJs and special concerts on Thursdays and Sundays. Plus, for the 2013 season, you'll have the chance to hear some world-renowned musicians as part of the Palms Pool Nighttime program.
