The Cromwell

A stay at The Cromwell, which opens on May 21, 2014, is sure to be an unforgettable one.

Located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip on the northeast corner of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, the boutique-style resort will have lots to offer travelers.

Not only is The Cromwell close to many of Vegas' most popular attractions, but the hotel also boasts 188 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, exceptional hospitality, the first-ever restaurant by chef Giada De Laurentiis and several unique party-oriented venues by nightlife visionary Victory Drai.

The Cromwell is part of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation's group of properties. Formerly known as Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, it has been undergoing a complete overhaul that is estimated to cost $185 million.

Among the things you can expect to find at the resort is a fully remodeled ground floor. This will include a 40,000-square-foot casino with 66 table games and 440 slot machines as well as a lobby reminiscent of an old world parlor with bookshelves lined by leather-bound tomes. Bound, the lobby bar, will feature barista-style coffees and pastries in the mornings as well as a selection of cocktails for nightcaps in the evening. There will also be a bar and lounge with a centralized location called Interlude.

De Laurentiis, the well-known author and television personality on the Food Network, is behind the 10,000-square-foot eatery Giada. It will be situated on the second floor and have a patio that will also showcase breathtaking views of the Strip and Fountains of Bellagio. Her Italian cuisine will embrace her birthplace of Rome while blending in some Californian influences. Signature dishes will include lemon spaghetti, eggplant rollatini, marsala herb chicken meatballs and lemon ricotta cookies.

On the 11th floor will be Drai's Beach Club & Pool Club -- a 65,000-square-foot rooftop day and night experience. The legendary Drai's After Hours club, which was originally located below the ground floor, will also return to that spot from its temporary location at Bally's.
