We share this collection with the community via exhibitions throughout the Las Vegas area. Additional exhibitions are announced throughout the year.
FOLIES BERGERE: ENTERTAINING LAS VEGAS, ONE RHINESTONE AT A TIME
The legacy of the Folies Bergere, which ran for nearly 50 years at the Tropicana Hotel, will be interpreted via photographs, costume and personal narratives of those individuals who brought life to the show. The Las Vegas News Bureau and the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas have provided rarely seen photographs and spectacular stage costumes from their respective archives.
Update: Due to overwhelming public interest, the exhibition at the Nevada State Museum has been extended through August 31, 2017. The exhibit has been moved to a larger exhibition space to accommodate for additional costumes, wardrobe cabinet and a larger video screen.

LAS VEGAS LINEUP: IDENTIFYING THE PAST FOR THE FUTURE
The Las Vegas News Bureau is proud to present Las Vegas Lineup as part of Mob Month 2017—a retelling of Las Vegas’ Mob history. With dozens of unidentified vintage photos in their respective archives, the Las Vegas News Bureau and the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas have partnered for two, one-of-a-kind photo identification events.
Preceding a presentation on Las Vegas’ mob past, visitors are invited to participate in the documentation of Las Vegas’ rich history by visiting the photo booth in the Main Theater of the Clark County Library. There, they can peruse the photo albums, as well as vintage cameras and artifacts. Help place the names with the faces at this photo identification extravaganza!
