The Quad Resort & Casino

The Quad Resort & Casino is being transformed into The LINQ Hotel & Casino. All of the rooms as well as the pool deck, spa and retail area are being renovated. Construction has begun. The name change will be official on Oct. 30, 2014, with construction due to be completed by spring 2015. The resort will remain open throughout construction.

The Quad Resort & Casino, which is centrally located on the Strip, has already undergone major interior and exterior refurbishment. It's part of the open-air, pedestrian-only district called The LINQ, which houses the High Roller observation wheel. Among the elements unveiled are a new porte cochere, lobby and the Catalyst Bar. The 5,000-square-foot O'Sheas Casino has also debuted with 11 table games, 15 video poker machines, three bars and six beer pong tables.

Caesars Entertainment has announced that The Quad will be rebranded as The LINQ Hotel & Casino on Oct. 30, 2014. As part of a $223 million renovation project, the property's 2,256 rooms and suites will be remodeled to feature contemporary decor elements as well as pillow-top mattresses, 47-inch flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations with speakers and rain shower heads. In addition, a new pool area (featuring both a standard hotel pool and a dayclub experience), a new lobby bar, a new spa and fitness center, and the new Vortex Roof Deck, are under construction and will debut in spring 2015.

Currently, the resort is filled with crowd-pleasing entertainment, good restaurants and extremely affordable rooms.

Entertainment options at The Quad are standouts. Jeff Civillico is featured in a high-energy comedy show in the afternoon. Recycled Percussion boasts a high-energy, rock-oriented production. "Divas Las Vegas" starring Frank Marino is never a drag -- even though all the performers are in drag!

The Auto Collections have been drawing thousands upon thousands of dedicated fans year after year. It's an exquisite assortment of vintage vehicles that once belonged to heads of state, celebrities and other notable people. You'll marvel at the array of shining cars, such as Johnny Carson's 1939 Chrysler Royal Sedan, a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II and a 1928 Mercedes-Benz S Tour. Some of the vehicles are even for sale.

Inside The Quad's welcoming casino is a state-of-the-art race and sports book and a five-table poker room, along with numerous slot and video poker machines.

Once you've taken in all the gaming and entertainment this resort has to offer, you can treat yourself to The Quad's ample dining choices. Several restaurants can satisfy any appetite. Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar is located at the resort's north entrance. For excellent south-of-the-border cuisine along with great margaritas and a mechanical bull, check out Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar at the south entrance. For one of the best breakfasts you've ever had -- as well as amazing burgers and salads for lunch and dinner -- try the Hash House A Go Go.

Nightlife is great at The Quad as well. The sports bar in the resort's large race & sports book is lively and popular among the serious sports gaming crowd. Along with cheap beer and live entertainment at O'Sheas Casino, you can order a variety of frozen daiquiris at Fat Tuesdays, get a handcrafted cocktail from a flair bartender at the Catalyst Bar or quench your thirst with one of more than 300 bottled, can and large-format brews from around the world at TAG Lounge & Bar.

After a long night, pamper yourself at The Salon at The Quad, which offers manicures, pedicures and other beauty services.

For those looking to tie the knot in Las Vegas, the resort is home to the Silver Sky Chapel. There are two beautiful chapels inside it offering a number of nuptial packages. The Skyline Chapel is decorated in dark wood with a voile curtain, and the Southwestern Chapel is inspired by the desert landscape.

The hotel's many amenities and fun atmosphere make The Quad an impressive part of the center Strip.

NOTE: Due to construction at The Quad, as it is being transformed into The LINQ Hotel & Casino, guests may may encounter temporary inconveniences, construction walls and some noise during daytime hours. The Quad's spa and pool are currently closed for remodeling. Guests can use the Beach Club pool at Flamingo Las Vegas or the pools at Paris Las Vegas and the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
