The Quad Resort & Casino

The Quad Resort & Casino, which is centrally located on the Strip, is undergoing a multimillion-dollar transformation to expand and become a more modern property that is part of the new high-energy retail and dining district called The Linq. Currently, the resort is filled with crowd-pleasing entertainment, good restaurants and extremely affordable rooms. The refurbishment is designed to enhance this.

Some recently unveiled elements have included the new porte cochere, front desk, bell desk, lobby, front section of the casino and Catalyst Bar. Renovation of The Quad is presently under way in the middle section of the casino floor as well as in some of the retail and dining areas.

Drivers will find the resort's main entrance has moved from the Las Vegas Strip to the north side of the building with access via Koval Road or Harrah's off Las Vegas Boulevard. A pedestrian walkway connects The Quad with adjacent properties, including Harrah's Carnaval Court.

The next phase of The Quad's renovations will be complete in September 2013. The final exterior work will be finished in late 2013, in conjunction with the opening of The Linq. In addition, chef Guy Fieri will be opening his first Las Vegas restaurant at the entrance of The Quad in late 2013.

Entertainment options at The Quad are Las Vegas standouts. Jeff Civillico is featured in a high-energy comedy show in the afternoon. Recycled Percussion boasts high-energy drumming. "Divas Las Vegas" starring Frank Marino is never a drag -- even though all the performers are in drag!

The Auto Collections have been drawing thousands upon thousands of dedicated fans year after year. It's an exquisite assortment of vintage vehicles that once belonged to heads of state, celebrities and other notable people. You'll marvel at the array of shining cars, such as Johnny Carson's 1939 Chrysler Royal Sedan, a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II and a 1928 Mercedes-Benz S Tour. Some of the vehicles are even for sale.

Inside The Quad's welcoming casino, the Dealertainers pit features celebrity impersonators behind the tables. Imagine being dealt a hand by Pink, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles or Elvis. If you've always dreamed about playing blackjack against your favorite star, The Quad is the place for you.

Once you've taken in all the entertainment this resort has to offer, you can treat yourself to The Quad's ample dining choices. Several restaurants and the Emperor's Buffet (open for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch) can satisfy any appetite, and the lounges serve up beverage-based refreshment.

For excellent Asian cuisine -- from China, Korea and Japan -- check out Ginseng 3. For the best breakfast you've ever had -- as well as amazing burgers and salads for lunch and dinner -- try the Hash House A Go Go. It's all about tacos, burritos and margaritas at Quesadilla. And you can grab some serious snack food at Betty's Diner & Cyber Cafe.

Nightlife is great at The Quad as well. The sports bar in the resort's large race & sports book is lively and popular among the serious sports gaming crowd.

After a long night, pamper yourself at The Salon at The Quad (the spa is temporarily closed for renovations), which offers manicures, pedicures and other beauty services. Or soak in the sun by the pool.

For those looking to tie the knot in Las Vegas, the resort is home to the Silver Sky Chapel. There are two beautiful chapels inside it offering a number of nuptial packages. The Skyline Chapel is decorated in dark wood with a voile curtain, and the Southwestern Chapel is inspired by the desert landscape.

The hotel's many amenities and fun atmosphere make The Quad an impressive part of the center Strip.

NOTE: Due to construction of The Linq, a $550 milllion urban retail and entertainment corridor scheduled to open in late 2013, The Quad is undergoing a noticeable transformation, bringing several improvements to the property including new interior and exterior refurbishments that will result in a new relaxed and contemporary atmosphere. During the renovation period, which is already underway, The Quad guests may experience construction noise, dusty surfaces and intermittent utility disruptions around the property. Every attempt will be made to alert guests upon arrival of any activities that may impact their stay. In addition, vehicle traffic is no longer be able to access The Quad from the Las Vegas Boulevard entrances. A detour route brings all consumer vehicle traffic through the east end of the property closer to self parking as well as valet parking at the new porte cochere, and consumer vehicle traffic may also use the Harrah's entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard. Two new entrances are available for getting into The Quad -- one is adjacent to the hotel's porte cochere on the north side and the other is on the south side across from Margaritaville at the Flamingo. Pedestrians may also use the bridge between Harrah's and The Quad located at the rear of the properties.
