The Quad Resort & Casino, which is centrally located on the Strip, is in the last stages of a multimillion-dollar transformation to expand and become a more modern property that is part of the new open-air, pedestrian-only district called The Linq. Currently, the resort is filled with crowd-pleasing entertainment, good restaurants and extremely affordable rooms. The refurbishment is designed to enhance all of this.
Some of the unveiled elements have included the new porte cochere, lobby, casino floor and Catalyst Bar. The 5,000-square-foot O'Sheas Casino has also debuted with 11 table games, 15 video poker machines, three bars, six beer pong tables and a beer garden.
Renovation of The Quad is presently under way in the middle section of the casino floor as well as at the resort's north entrance for chef Guy Fieri's first Las Vegas restaurant, which will open in early 2014.
Entertainment options at The Quad are Las Vegas standouts. Jeff Civillico is featured in a high-energy comedy show in the afternoon. Recycled Percussion boasts high-energy drumming. "Divas Las Vegas" starring Frank Marino is never a drag -- even though all the performers are in drag!
The Auto Collections have been drawing thousands upon thousands of dedicated fans year after year. It's an exquisite assortment of vintage vehicles that once belonged to heads of state, celebrities and other notable people. You'll marvel at the array of shining cars, such as Johnny Carson's 1939 Chrysler Royal Sedan, a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II and a 1928 Mercedes-Benz S Tour. Some of the vehicles are even for sale.
Inside The Quad's welcoming casino, the Dealertainers pit features celebrity impersonators behind the tables. Imagine being dealt a hand by Pink, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles or Elvis. If you've always dreamed about playing blackjack against your favorite star, The Quad is the place for you.
Once you've taken in all the entertainment this resort has to offer, you can treat yourself to The Quad's ample dining choices. Several restaurants can satisfy any appetite, and the lounges serve up beverage-based refreshment. For excellent Asian cuisine -- from China, Korea and Japan -- check out Ginseng 3. For the best breakfast you've ever had -- as well as amazing burgers and salads for lunch and dinner -- try the Hash House A Go Go. It's all about tacos, burritos and margaritas at Quesadilla. And you can grab some serious snack food at Betty's Diner & Cyber Cafe.
Nightlife is great at The Quad as well. The sports bar in the resort's large race & sports book is lively and popular among the serious sports gaming crowd.
After a long night, pamper yourself at The Salon at The Quad (the spa is temporarily closed for renovations), which offers manicures, pedicures and other beauty services. Or soak in the sun by the pool.
For those looking to tie the knot in Las Vegas, the resort is home to the Silver Sky Chapel. There are two beautiful chapels inside it offering a number of nuptial packages. The Skyline Chapel is decorated in dark wood with a voile curtain, and the Southwestern Chapel is inspired by the desert landscape.
The hotel's many amenities and fun atmosphere make The Quad an impressive part of the center Strip.
NOTE: Due to construction of The Linq (which is opening in phases through spring 2014) and a remodel of The Quad, guests may may encounter temporary inconveniences, construction walls and some noise during daytime hours.
