At Rose. Rabbit. Lie. in The Cosmopolitan, clever theatrics meet a nightclub atmosphere -- blurring the lines between a show and all-out partying.
Described as the "rebirth of a social club," Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is a truly communal venue. It's spread throughout a maze of rooms where guests experience improvised performances at almost every turn.
The late-night show takes place in the ballroom and follows two earlier productions of "Vegas Nocturne." At midnight, after much of the theater-style seating has been removed, a short 30-minute version of the "Vegas Nocturne" production gets underway for the standing-room crowd on a stage that's shaped like a segmented runway. You'll see a mix of unique acts -- things like tap dancing twins, contortionists, a high-wire artist, a musician who plays half-filled crystal glasses and a magician in a dragon suit with a small dog that is also in a dragon suit.
As the night unfolds, these performers disappear into the audience. Go-go dancers appear on some portions of the stage while guests start dancing atop other portions.
A DJ can be found in the ballroom spinning a variety of tunes, mixed with intervals of live music that includes drum and keyboard performances.
Drinks aplenty are served at two bars near the entries to the ballroom or at other bars located throughout Rose. Rabbit. Lie. There's a menu featuring specialty cocktails (such as the Monkey Gland, Survivor and Down the Rabbit Hole) that cost between $16 and $20. Tables and bottle service are also offered.
Amid this ebb and flow, guests at Rose. Rabbit. Lie. are guaranteed an unpredictable evening. They will find themselves drinking, being entertained and dancing away in an offbeat, chaotic and exhilarating night.
