Tour Description

Journey from lights of Sin City to theĀ ancient geological wonder of the Valley of Fire. Along the way you will travel through the Mojave Desert with magnificent scenery everywhere you look.

Your tour begins as with a short trip through suburban Las Vegas. As the city disappears behind you, your desert pilgrimage begins.

An entertaining and knowledgeable guide accompanies you as you travel along the shore of spectacular Lake Mead. The desert is home to a variety of wildlife from wild mustangs, burros, big horn sheep, coyotes, deer, as well as magnificent foliage.

On this journey, you will visit Rogers Springs, where you can explore the waterfall, reeds and palm trees that surround this true desert oasis. But hold on, the best is yet to come - Valley of Fire, Nevada's first state park. You will see sandstone formations in fire engine red, with overwhelming valleys and gorges at every turn. These stunning formations were formed more than 150 million years ago.

Guests will get the chance to see amazing rock formations including Elephant rock, Seven Sisters and Balancing Rock. You will also see stone cabins built decades ago as a shelter for passing travelers. Then there is the incredible Rainbow Vista, its multicolor mountains are a perfect photo opportunity.

After a short drive through the Moapa Indian Reservation, you will be back in your hotel in no time.

This is a comfortable tour with minimum walking and packed with excitement from beginning to end!
