LAX Nightclub Review
With a slew of celebrity investors (including Christina Aguilera and DJ AM) and a sister property in Hollywood, LAX nightclub
is upping the ante in Sin City nightlife.
The two-story, 26,000-square-foot club is the latest nightclub offering from Pure Management Group and includes amenities like a top-of-the-line sound system, ultra-VIP areas and shimmering chandeliers - not that you'd expect anything less from the folks that brought you Pure at Caesars Palace.
And like a lot of sisters, the two clubs couldn't be more different -- think of LAX as the darker, more gothic sister to Pure's shiny varsity cheerleader.
Drenched in dark colors and accented with deep, rich reds, LAX kind of oozes cool. The VIP booths are shrouded in heavy, dramatic drapes and the dance floor and DJ booth are lit in a such way that any music in the club instantly feels a little sexier.
At 26,000 square feet, LAX isn't the biggest club on the Strip these days, but it's not the smallest either, which, as Goldilocks can tell you, makes it just right. There's enough space (and enough bars) to get your drink and get around, but not feel like you've trekked miles to get back to your group. The club's two stories also make it easier to spot potential hip-shaking partners and keep an eye on them until you're ready to make your move (which, if you want our advice, would come off much smoother on the club's giant staircase).
There's a lot more to LAX than can easily be put down to words, it's more of a vibe and some gesturing, while saying things like, "That place was cool," so, for now, just know: that place is cool. Check it out.
