Triq Nightclub and Ultra Lounge Review
Las Vegas' newest nightlife locale blurs the lines between reality and creativity, combining a theater, ultra lounge, nightclub
and rolling boutique in one $35 million, 33,000-square-feet venue -- the Steve Wyrick Entertainment Complex.
Quite a trick, but not unexpected from magician Steve Wyrick. Wyrick has been been a headline magician at several Las Vegas hotels, growing his act from early appearances at the Lady Luck and then Sahara. Now he has built a custom theater and club to his own specifications at the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood resort (formerly the Aladdin) .
Nightly you can catch Wyrick in the complex's 500-seat theater. Singer Martin Nievera and puppeteer Ronn Lucas perform in the afternoon. But it's during the evening when things really get magical with Triq Nightclub and Ultra Lounge.
The ultra lounge is open Sundays through Thursdays and while it is free for "Steve Wyrick: Real Magic" patrons, other guests will pay a cover charge. The lounge is located on the first floor and features plush Italian furniture, cracked glass backlighting and specialty drinks.
On Friday and Saturday nights, the entire complex transforms into a four-level nightclub, housing two floors of lounges, with the theater stage serving as a dance floor. VIP tables feature stripper poles for go-go dancers who will entertain patrons who buy two or more bottles of alcohol.
