Dixie's Dam Country Bar Review
Country bars are few and far between in Las Vegas, so if you prefer Kenny to Kanye, you’ll want to check out Dixie’s Dam Country Bar at Hooters Casino Hotel.
You won’t find anything flashy or fancy at Dixie’s – the 3,000-square-foot bar features wooden floors and wood-paneled walls and a few booths lining the back of the room. Like any good country bar, most of the space is reserved for dancing and drinking.
A dance floor near the entrance provides plenty of room for line dancing and two-stepping and an island-style bar means you won’t be lined up three people deep to get a drink.
In true Hooters fashion, the bartenders, waitresses and DJs are all female and dressed in sexy Hooters-style attire with a country twist.
Dixie’s offers live music (country star Joe Diffie kicked off the bar’s grand opening) and DJs playing the hottest country hits, both new and classic, Wednesdays through Saturdays.
