The Pearl Review
The room holds just 2,500 spectators and the farthest seat from the stage is a mere 120 feet away. The stage itself is only four feet up from the floor, so fans can get a close-up view of their favorite music artists.
Gwen Stefani rocked the opening of The Pearl, telling the audience that the small venue made it seem "like a friends and family show."
Two 14-foot by 16-foot screens on either side of the venue ensure that no one misses any detail of what's happening onstage.
The Pearl has three levels with bars and restrooms located on each. There are 18 private and semi-private skyboxes along the sides of the room with private bars, lounges and restrooms.
The floor can be arranged for seated or standing room crowds and curtains can make the venue even smaller to hold crowds of just 1,100.
Lighting and sound are state-of-the-art at The Pearl. You can literally feel the power from 60 JBL Vertec loudspeakers.
Another unique feature of The Pearl is that it is hard wired to The Studio at The Palms, enabling bands that play there to to create live albums.
It's no wonder acts like Morrissey, Fall Out Boy, the Goo Goo Dolls and Avril Lavigne are lining up to perform at the Palms.
