Palms Pool and Bungalows Review

After more than $30 million in renovations and a wealth of ingenuity, the three-acre pool complex at The Palms (broken down into three areas) is sure to amaze.

The first pool stretches out in front of the restaurant terrace and is ringed by six woven-metal, cylindrical cabanas with sophisticated custom interiors.

An ankle-deep wading area gives way to a second pool. To the right are three two-story bungalows - each with its own pool, double-sided fireplace, lawn and bedroom. To the left, round, canvas cabanas flank a concert stage. Ikea-style, canvas-topped teepees with Astroturf occupy a terrace above three stone cabanas, with a waterfall flowing from the second floor to shield a bar.

In the space between the first two pools, a triangular glass bar and six blackjack tables are set beneath the tiny glass-bottomed third pool, with two more waterfalls feeding the wading areas.

Adding to the ambience are three incredible bars:

  • The Glass Bar, located below the aformentioned glass-bottomed pool.
  • The Waterfall Bar, hidden behind a cascading, 12-foot waterfall.
  • The Entry Bar, this is the first bar guests encounter when they enter the Palms pool complex.

The Palms Pool club are also has 27 cabanas, each with a 32-inch LCD TV, speakers with individual volume control, house phone, lighted fan, refrigerator, safe and modern style furniture.

Beside hosting Ditch Fridays every Friday, the Palms Pool is open as a club on Friday and Saturday nights. Sundays is Palms Pool Sundays, a no cover party.
