Red Rock Cabana Club Review
Pool clubs have made a pretty big name for themselves in Las Vegas, becoming as ubiquitous as gaming, nightclubs and everything else the city is known for. And as with most things Vegas, the epicenter of this trend is, of course, the Strip.
But while the Red Rock Resort isn't on the Strip, the Red Rock Cabana Club is a worthy pool club experience. The location also translates to cheaper prices, less of a wait, and fewer headaches for some. They also don't charge a cover, which means more money for drinks, a cabana or a daybed. Daybeds start off with a $100 food and beverage minimum and the cabanas, which rival those on the Strip, start at $400.
With a single pool overlooking the main hotel pool, this club isn't exactly a wild party spot. But don't let that dissuade you. That's actually kind of the point.
Red Rock Cabana Club has a more relaxed atmosphere than pretty much anything on the Strip, with DJs spinning great dance tunes for a slightly more subdued experience. You'll hear beats from many of the same DJs that spin at the mega-clubs, DJs like Dig Dug, Mika Gold and Quira.
The vibe is dance enough if that's your type of thing, but laid back enough to not feel out of place just dipping your feet in the water and relaxing. This off-Strip gem is the very definition of "escape."
