Las Vegas
There's a side to Vegas you don't know. Or, maybe you do. Vegas veteran or not, here's a comprehensive guide to nightlife, spas, dining and other very Vegas adventures. Or click here to download a PDF of our LGBT Out Guide.
Las Vegas has plenty of gay nightlife options available. For an ultra-lounge/club atmosphere, check out SHARE Nightclub just blocks from the Palms Hotel. Head downtown to Snick's Place, the oldest gay bar in Vegas and the gay equivalent to Cheers. Enjoy the drinks, strippers and games at Flex. Or catch some country-western flavor at the Badlands Saloon or Charlie's. Other exciting clubs include 8 ½, Piranha, Backdoor Lounge, The Garage, The Buffalo, Charlie's, Escape Lounge, Fun Hog Ranch, Goodtimes, Las Vegas Eagle, Las Vegas Lounge and Spotlight Lounge. Several night spots feature "ladies nights" for the women's community. On Tuesdays, Freezone offers Beer Bust for the girls, and Fridays, head to Gipsy for Girlspot. Saturday nights feature Candy Bar inside Krave at Planet Hollywood.
Las Vegas' premier resorts aren't just a place to crash and store your stuff. With all of the amenities that the city's amazing hotels have to offer, you're sure to enjoy a wonderful getaway. From the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas to the canals of Venice at The Venetian, to the beautiful lakeside Bellagio, Las Vegas welcomes visitors to some of the most unique casino resorts in the world. Several Las Vegas hotels offer LGBT packages. Planet Hollywood, Wynn Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, New York-New York and Luxor offer packages geared specifically with the LGBT traveler in mind. Or, check in to the Blue Moon Resort, the only all-male, Las Vegas gay-owned hotel.
The unique settings of the Bellagio Chapel, Caesars Palace, Luxor, The Wedding Salons at Wynn Las Vegas and the Eiffel Tower observation deck at Paris Las Vegas are perfect for a Vegas-style commitment ceremony. New York-New York and Cirque du Soleil are offering a commitment ceremony package and Paris Las Vegas offers an LGBT honeymoon package. You could also visit the only gay owned and operated chapel in Las Vegas, the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. Chapels or clergy that perform commitment ceremonies issue a certificate of holy union that identifies the partners, the officiate, the place and the date that vows of fidelity are taken.
