A scion of Old Vegas, Binion's is a player's resort with a casino that's been a favorite of poker aficionados for years. Throw in great food and rollicking bars and you have winner. 

Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street Experience, Binion's does its level best to preserve this town's hard-won reputation as a place for gamblers and high-rollers. The resort's 50,000-square-foot casino is where the World Series of Poker and the Hall of Fame Poker Classic were created. Though the tournaments have moved to the Rio, Binion's poker room is still a favorite of poker aficionados. Flanked by two full-service bars, it offers 10 tables, historic photos and 11 flat-screen TVs as well as tableside food service. You can find all the usual culprits in Binion's 50,000-square-foot casino as well, from roulette and craps to keno and mini baccarat.

Visit the sports bar and cigar lounge, Benny's Bullpen, where flat-screen televisions surround you with the latest action as you enjoy signature menu items including Irish chips, prime rib sliders and handcrafted microbrews. And steaks don't get any better than those served at the Top of Binion's Steakhouse. For quick eats, make a stop at Binion's Deli or Binion's Café.

A new outdoor bar with patio seating recently opened called Whiskey Licker. It's situated near one of the concert stages at Fremont Street Experience, so patrons can listen to bands perform. The décor features the same dark wood Binion's sports throughout the property.

The hotel's room tower is currently under renovation, so overnight stays are not possible. No official reopening date has been announced.
